Is warming up your car hard on the engine?

I don’t know if I quite agree with this. I do trust Popular Mechanics but I think I will stick with letting mine warm up. Warming your car up in the cold just harms your engine

    Google Search

If you are looking for something that follows themes of conspiracy, politics and religion; Google Search is now complete crap. These guys are a joke at this point. Maybe it's duckduckgo.com from here on? Startpage gives anonymity but, if the results you are given are so agenda driven, how useful...

    DuckDuckGo - Search Engine

I know DuckDuckGo has been around for quite some time now, but I haven't looked into them in a long time. But I am impressed, they have come quite a long way and it's private unlike Google. Plus they have a new app out as well. Works quite nice with Firefox.

    Engine Control Computer

Anyone have any experience diagnosing Engine Control Computers? (the black box) Have a Dodge Intrepid that sometimes refuses to fire when starting at random times. Taking the  positive battery terminal off clears the issue. (so far)

    De-greasing an engine

I decided to de-grease my car's engine. I had a small oil spill that I think the last person to change my oil did on the side of my engine. I wanted to make sure that it's clean ans not leaking a gasket. I have never done it and just bought some purple stuff too it down to the buggy bath and...

You engine sound may be faked

Stomp on the gas in a new Ford Mustang or F-150 and you’ll hear a meaty, throaty rumble — the same style of roar that Americans have associated with auto power and performance for decades. It’s a sham. The engine growl in some of America’s best-selling cars and trucks is actually a...

    Bing search engine

Well I tried not to a be a gimp and give in, but I have been using Bing quite a bit more lately. I'd encourage you all to do the same. It is better at local results (at least here) and the overall search results aren't too bad. I still cave in once in a while and use the "do no evil" engine...

    The frequency engine

Ok i was thinking about this, since oil is getting crazy. Ok basically to make an engine run we need to push some pistons. We currently make this happen with the explosion of gasoline in the engine block correct? No what if we can push those pistons by other means? The engine should still turn...

What type of engine oil do you use?

What type of oil do you use in your vehicles? I use Amsoil. Can't beat not having to change your oil for 7500 miles, and getting better gas milage and having your run better. Synthetic >*
