Finally finished this trilogy. While the fist two books were good, I struggled just trying to finish the third. There is quite a following for this series. Hence they made "The Golden Compass" into a movie years ago.

There is a guy at work that builds stuff and has watching the price of lumber and said it was down the last few weeks, but it was up over this weekend.  Anyone else noticing trends like that?
