Is there software or any way to create an online program for any piece of software? I know of technical ways of doing it by hosting it yourself, but is there an online server of sorts a person can use?

www.logmein.com Cross platform and free.  Really slick interface.  I've used this to assist with family and friends computers.  Its much easier than the custom stuff I've had to do in the past. Has anyone else used this?  Or do you prefer other products?
