How many of you use a power storage bank of some kind? We have a 10,000 mAh Anker one here at work that we have had for a couple of years that works really well charging all sorts of things. I also borrowed it once when we went out of town and it came in handy being able to plug our phones in...

I would like to see what brand people prefer for their hard drive these days? I have switched brands throughout the years, but lately I have been using the Seagate 'Iron Wolfs' for my NAS. I know the WD reds are suppose to be good as well. For regular computers I always recommend a SSD or .M2...

So when we bought our place we had a pretty large sized greenhouse in our back yard which was basically just framed. We haven't touched it besides weeds growing up inside of it. Well we decided to do something about it, or I guess I should say my Dad did. He got it all leveled and squared off...

Has anyone ever bought themselves a rack for home? I was looking at some 9U racks. One with a door on the front. Not really to put in a server but more to hold my home networking equipment. Does anyone have one for their house?

I have been looking for a storage solution for all my dvd/blu-rays. I would like to keep them in their cases but it seems like I would need to go with a shelving system for that. I did run across this neat little device but you have to remove them out of their cases. Link

With all the new cloud storage out there, you may want to take a minute or two and ready their TOS when signing up. Looks like the winner is Dropbox. Dropbox By using our Services you provide us with information, files, and folders that you submit to Dropbox (together, “your stuffâ€). You...

Do you have a Live ID? Do you use Skydrive? If you answered yes to either of these, especially the latter, you may want to increase your storage space while you can. Currently the amount of free space offered has been lowered to 7GB. There's a big post on the team's web site about why they...

Anyone here still using dropbox? If you aren't it's a pretty slick backup and I suggest you sign up (2GB of free storage). Currently if you are using this you can boost your storage by testing their beta and auto importing photos/videos, up to 5GB more free!! I did this myself yesterday. I...

I was thinking about this the other day. What if there was a central database that holds all of the music in the world out there. Basically all the music gets uploaded to it, and players from car audio, home stereos, and MP3 players can tap into it. You would pay a monthly fee. But unlike Sirius...

I have seen these out for awhile now, but after watching the demo, I want one. They have a neat product on their hands. Just wish the price tag was lower... http://www.drobo.com/products_demo.aspx

This is a nice deal and it's going on again! I just ordered one myself. :smt004 http://shop2.outpost.com/product/4596287
