I couldn't justify losing MLB The Show, even for Forza. MLB 2K is not even comparable.
Bah, you need Skype that can track moving objects more. You don't have enough time to play MLB and Madden as it is today, might as well give up one now

So no one ended up getting one then? I saw a few of my friends stood in line, some got them others did not.

Nope and looks like walmart is all sold out from looking online.

Everyone had a chance to pre-order. Even Amazon had more in stock last night and special deals. So no one should be surprised, everyone had a chance to get one if they wanted one. But I honesty wouldn't worry these aren't going to be like the PS3.

Yeah, they'll be obsolete in a week.... :)

Yeah as I was telling Nodle, if I wanted one bad enough I would have either pre-ordered or waited in line longer for one. Not a huge deal to me.

I'm not understanding your last post @@nodle...

I thought it had been posted here, but I don't see it. There was an image making its rounds online of the PS4 compared to Xbox One in size. The PS4 may be slightly shorter in height and appears to be a couple or three inches shorter in length. The PS4 also has the power source built in so you just have PC like cord to plug in, while the Xbox One has a separate power brick.

However, I've seen there are reports of the PS4 getting a "red line of death", though it sounds like this is really just the console over heating. I wonder how much cramming all the components into a the smallest possible case with one fan and the power source is contributing to over heating and probably very noisy (fan running at high speed) operation? I know my PS3 sounds like a jet engine when running games in comparison to the 360. It also runs much, much warmer in the entertainment stand. Had it over heat once when some guests had accidentally turned it on trying to figure out the TV, then they shut up the doors on the stand. The fan was running so loud I could hear it upstairs.

Anyway, I guess I just have to wonder if the components crammed in the chassis and all is contributing, how much can they really do about it. Of course, no one's seen a tear down of the innards of a One yet, so tough to say if there's more room in there, but MS has said they designed it to last 10 years and likely learned some lessons on airflow and running cool after red ring issues of yester-year. I have heard from my sources that the One does run incredibly quiet though

I have also been seeing the red line thing myself. Few videos out there. Xbox hasn't been released yet either so we will have to wait to see if it has problems. Truthfully it will take about a year for us to really hear about all the problems if there are any. For some reason the video was deleted above, so I will re-post it here.

I read that there was a high number of reviews on Amazon that were negative. I take online reviews with a grain of salt though, never know how many are real and how many are just out there being dipshits.
Back on the overheating topic. This guy took some images with a FLIR 8 camera showing the temps the PS4 runs at after downloading the Day 1 update and some time playing games. Peak of about 141 F, but neat images anyway. http://www.planetextech.com/profiles/blogs/playstation-4-thermal-images

Yet, I read last night that at target and Wal-Mart the Xbox One accounted for 31 percent of console sales, the 360 was 30%, the PS4 and PS3 tied at 15% each. Doesn't leave much room for the Wii consoles, but yea...
Yeah it really seems like there was a shortage of PS4 consoles around the Black Friday time. That could really end up hurting Sony. I think some people that were waiting on PS4's said the hell with it and just went with the XBone because they were a little more available.

Possibly, but luckily they'll be happier with their decision to get an Xbox One and won't have to go through buyer's remorse

I think @@jmanz is right in his theory. Alot of people had money burning a hole in their pocket so they went with whatever they could get their hands on.
