What's everyone's opinion of Fiber To The Home, or Fiber To The _____ technology? I know jmanz just got it installed at his apartment, and davec accompanies him having customers call about it.

If you could have one hookup to your home bring phone, telephone and internet service would you?

I know I would. Though there are some technical diffulculties to be expected with newer technologies.

We don't have it in our area so I can't really comment on it. Just dialup, dsl, and cable.

Well our FTTH customers hardly ever call. Stable as a mountain goat. No modems to burn out or ports on DSLAM to lay down. Tis good from a support perspective.

I am excited to go back to the apt and see how it performs. I can comment better after a little testing.....

One thing that will be somewhat of a buzzkill will be the lack of PPV on the tv. The inet more than makes up for it though :D
