The Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, & Apple TV+ Thread

It wasn’t when I checked earlier this week might be now.

I have got one episode left of the American Gladiator show on Netflix. It's ok, somewhat interesting but about what I expected going on behind the scenes.

I haven't logged onto netflix in a week or so, and surprisingly they have added a bunch of new stuff to keep me busy for a while. I watched Out-laws last night. Directed by Adam Sandler.

I have been watching the new season of Alone, good stuff. I also watched 65 the other night, don't waste your time.

How do you like Apple TV? I've heard it is getting better. I've never checked it out.

I haven't used it much lately, my T-mobile came with like a 1- or 2-year subscription for free. So, I think it's still active until sometime next year. I don't know if I would pay for it since there aren't many series. But for the series they do have they are high quality shows. Netflix adds everything, where Apple TV seems to pick and choose their series.

I went from thinking I had tons to watch on Netlfix, only to just show surf for about a half hour solid and then just shut the whole thing down.

I need to cancel Disney and rotate back into Netflix again. Been awhile since I've been back to Netflix.

We don’t have Disney anymore, Netflix comes and goes with their series, I get it for free, but I think you could skip a few months and then catch back up easily.

I have been back on a Seinfeld kick lately.

So let me get this straight, you just lost all these subscribers and now you’re raising your prices? That’s not how this work, that means you need to lower your prices to bring people back not raise them. Good luck!

All these years they told you streaming was always cheaper, hook, line and sinker.

The nice part is they can all be dropped extremely easily.

This could be interesting.

I was thinking about signing back up to Disney+, but man not only did they raise their prices dramatically, but now they have ads.

Meh, you haven't missed much. I will be doing the switch soon, dropping Disney and back to Netflix.

I started watching One Piece on Netflix last night. I know it's an anime adaptation, but people are saying that it was done correctly. It's actually not to bad so far.

I finished One Piece last night, even though I have never watched the anime it was entertaining non the less. Reminds me of a mix of Scott Pilgrim with pirates.

I watched Fast Times at Ridgemont High last night. A classic 80's movie. The plot is so strange. I think they just tried to just make a day in the life of a high school teenager. But you still can't beat the pool scene. ;)

I watched Stand by Me last night. I know it's a classic but I have never watched it before. It was good. For some reason I always thought it was a sad movie so I stayed away from it, but it was more about childhood friends growing up.
