I started this up today for the first time after hearing the rave reviews from people online. It's a top down, point and click, hack and slash, dungeon crawling RPG. There is not much character customization in this. You pick one of three characters(pictured above) and name your character. Each character his his/her strengths and weaknesses. The Big guy is a weapon using power type where using swords, axes, and similar type weapons are his strengths. The chick is more a long range weapon user such as bows and guns. The last dude is a magic user and uses staffs and magical weapons. You also get a pet. Either a dog or a cat which you name and it accompanies you throughout your quest. Your pet will fight with you and can also carry items which helps so you can carry more items before having to go back to town or drop some of them.
The graphics and colors are nice and very much resemble World of Warcraft. In fact the screen layout is also very similar but more simple. The difference is it's more top down and not third person like WOW. You gain levels like any RPG and collect gold. You also find weapons, armor and items while hacking away. You equip new items and they show on your character which is a nice touch. The main aspect of the game it accepting quests and completing them much like WOW. In turn you get gold, XP and items.
I have only put in about an hour of play but so far it is a ver fun game if you enjoy games like Neverwinter Nights or WOW.... basically top down point and click RPG games. 10/10 so far as I like games like this.
