Weird laser beam on weather radar

I would guess just a different air temp or . The same or at least similar shades of that are elsewhere in the image. Perhaps not air temp, but without seeing their color key i'd guess air temp or something to do with it being an area of higher precipitation concentration (snow storm heading in).
 
Kinda weird that it is like a beam. Also if you look at Google maps there is nothing out there, a good place for something hidden. :ph34r:
