What's stopping big Bertha?

Call in Dig Dug, Mr Driller and Mr Do!

I read about this earlier. Makes you wonder why some sort of seismic analysis wasn't done earlier. How do they plan these routes anyway? Straight line between A and B?

Read about this a week or so ago. It is intriguing, given the tunneler should be able to make it through known materials that they'd expect to be there

You are correct @@ndboarder . These things are basically a large slow boring worm. They are very amazing. Doesn't matter if it is a large boulder these thing should slowly eat though it like butter. They have used these things in Colorado, and Texas and many other places. It would have to be like an Iron meteorite or something.
