    Into the night

I have always wanted to watch this movie. I loved the 80's feel of the movie poster. It starred a young Jeff Goldblum and Michelle Pfeiffer. I enjoyed it. It had alot of famous people of that time in the movie as well, David Bowie, Dan Arkroyd, and I even recognized Jim Henson. It was a decent...

    Can't buy me love

I watched this last night. I think it has been some time and I might had seen it growing up. It's a great 80's romantic comedy about a kid that buys his way into popularity.

    Clash of the Titans (1981)

This movie always sits in my memory. I would watch this growing up and I always loved the whole adventure feel, and made me interested in Greek mythology. I just picked it up and started watching it again. It's still good and love the special effects.

    Rad - the movie

I have been wanting to watch this forever. Last night I finally purchased it so that I could. It's an 80's movie trying to profit off the BMX craze of the 80's. It has fancy BMX tricks and they use 'cool' language like 'rad' and 'gnarly'. It's not horrible, I have seen worse.

    Wild Hogs

You can tell I have been on a movie watching spree. This was a good funny movie from back in the day, has some great laughs.

Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger

I have fond memories of these types of movies growing up. They would always be on channels like HBO. I always enjoyed the stop animation effect from Ray Harryhausen. It's a great adventure movie if you have never watched it, and it even stands up to this day.

    Summer Rental

I picked this up the other day since it was on sale and I had never really seen it before. It's an earlier movie of John Candy's. I know the reviews are pretty bad for it, but I found the first half mildly entertaining, and he really shows his fatherly side in it. It almost had a National...

    Big trouble, little China

Anyone else remember this movie? I bought it awhile back and watched it a few weeks ago, it’s strange but good.

    John Candy

While somewhat off topic, but somewhat related, I watched this small documentary about John Candy and he seemed like a good guy even off the screen, pretty gentle actually. Shame he left us so soon.

    Tron: Ares

    My body is ready.

    Transformers One

It has silly parts and maybe not every actor fits their voice role perfectly, but it's the best of what computer animated transformers can be, IMO. The old movie is great, but this is great in its own way too. Thankful that I took a risk when I bought it; been burned before

    Let's discuss the Ernest movies

Ernest P. Worrell was so big when I was growing up. He pumped out quite a few movies, and I think we went and saw every one of them. My dad really enjoyed his comedy as well (or maybe he just went for us kids). Did you enjoy them? Do you have a favorite one of his? I have really been wanting to...

    20,000 leagues under the sea

I used to watch this on the Disney Channel growing up all the time. I watched it again the other night now that they have it in 4k. It still holds up decently well.

    Fright Night

I have never seen this movie, (not much of a horror fan). But I always remembered the cover, and by today's standards it's probably pretty cheesy since the movie is from 1985. Anyone else remember seeing it growing up? I thought about watching it.

    Stay Tuned movie

Why have I never heard of this movie? Has anyone else seen it or remember it? Is it any good?

    Flash Gordon the movie

I always hear people talk about this movie from the 1980's. So they had it on sale so I picked it up. The soundtrack is written by Queen including the opening song. Pretty wild stuff. You can tell they were trying to compete with Star Wars.

    The Last Dragon

I watched this the other night. I don’t know how I missed it. It reminded me of Miami Connection. I don’t know if it was trying to be a mockery of a Bruce Lee movie, or just trying to cash in at the time.

    Weird Science

Picked this one up the other day and it had been a while since I had seen it. It was a John Hughes movie, and is kind of a crazy movie. It's still a cult classic.

    Teen Wolf

I haven't seen this movie since I was a little kid but watched it again last night. It's really a decent 80s movie.
