We have a concert to go to this year and I was going to bring some normal ear plugs, but then I ran across premium ear plugs that still produce high fidelity sound. Instead of muting everything, it just lowers the noise to a safe decibel level while still maintaining quality sound utilizing...
Anyone use a sound bar for their television? I have one I bought years ago, and never use it, turned it on while watching a show the other day and I couldn't believe the difference it made. So I ordered a small one for the bedroom tv. Seems like they have come along ways with their eARC...
Does anyone have a pair of noise cancellation headphones? The Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II are quite popular, but Amazon sells some cheap Cowin ones. But I have started to look at the Sony WH-1000mx3. I am pretty decided on the Sony ones, but it sounds like the WH-1000mx4 are coming soon. Just...

During the Cold War, the United States Navy erected a vast array of underwater listening devices in order to detect and track Soviet nuclear submarines. These hydrophones were...
Quadraphonic sound was one of the earliest consumer offerings in multichannel audio, introduced to the American market in the early 1970s. Quad was not one format but myriad different and largely incompatible formats on different media: quadraphonic could be obtained from vinyl records, eight...

I happen to like physical tight bass, smooth midrange, great imaging, and silky highs.
The bass in a car stereo system should cave one's forehead in.
