I am only speculating since their digital E3 event has yet to start but rumors of what Nintendo is showing and announcing sounds crappy. They need to show a Metroid for both systems, new Zelda for the Wii U and some other major games they have that other systems don't. I just don't seem to be hearing anything exciting from them.

I think they will come out with something new soon like you said. At least their hand held made out good.
 
Gave my U to my little brover a few months ago.. I blew through HD Wind Waker and he's big into the Smash franchise so yeah

I've said it before, but Wii U is way more of a "you have a family or group of friends that hangs out in one place a lot" type system. I feel bad for Nintendo in a sense. Feels like they deserve more or something... even though it's just a corporation. Like fans say and pics posted here display, though, their priorities are skewed.

Make bigger and better blockbuster titles and fans will buy it no matter what. New Metroids, new Marios... 2d platformer Donkey Kongs won't suffice. Even during N64 days they made a killer full-3d Donkey Kong game. I'm just rambling now but there's a lot of potential, and whoever's in charge at Nintendo doesn't know jack about what's really important when trying to market a console that plays GAMES.

 
I actually fired mine up, updated the firmware. Then browsed the store then turned back off.

Same here. I want to get because of the hype and all but probably would not play it or enjoy it if I did. Back in my college days when I had time, an imagination for creation and TIME I would have loved it.

 
Nintendo NX: Upcoming Console May Run Games at 900p Resolution, Reports SayA survey from market research company GFK suggested that the console will run games at 60 frames per second, multiple outlets reported. The console is planned to be unveiled later this year.

I don't understand how that is a feature?  Is there something I don't know that makes this cool?  Is the 3DS or the wiiU tablet at 900p?
