To update, got the joycons back today with the work order saying the repairs have been made. My kid is using them now and says everything is working like new. Nintendo gets an A+ on their repair service all the way around.

With these harder to get ones they never seemed to get them. I remember the first Zelda for the switch Best Buy was where it was at. Amazon is not good with true limited editions.

It sucks because it doesn’t have my saved game from the first time, so I had to start fresh. That’s one nice thing about the Xbox, all your cloud saves are always tied to your account. I wish Nintendo did this.

 
I am still impressed with the size of the world for such a small cartridge.
 
If I would time it right I could beat this one, right in time for the new one coming out.
 
I miss Zelda. Basically played through I think 2 of the major dungeons then slowly stopped playing once oldest son got older, started playing and second son was born. Just no time to really get into a "big" game anymore. I tried off and on since but nope. I really was looking forward to finding the master sword. I will say though my interest was lost due to some of the mechanics (breaking weapons) and just how large the world and amount of things to do.

You know it's not too bad though, there always seems to be some that you find somewhere. One nice thing is the menu system is set up nicely without being too complex. It's nice how it shows a green up arrow or a red down arrow if an item does less damage.

I know what you mean @C Pav I am also the same way anymore with game almost being overwhelming. The younger me would have killed for a game like this and I would have put all my attention into it. The older me has access to to many games and I can't finish any of them. I can't be dedicated anymore. I hate it.
