Ouch! There sure were a lot of the ultimate editions on a cart behind the service counter waiting for pickup today. Nodle says they will be all over on clearance, but given what I saw I doubt that's going to be the case here in town. Maybe out in bum fu**** western ND if anyone actually gets one in stock, but looks like they'll disappear off the shelving here quick.

 
I found my copy just sitting uncovered in a Pontiac Grand Prix in Fargo. Times are tough.
 
I just don't want this to be another Halo 3 Legendary edition situation. That thing is so limited it's still being made.

I've only gotten a little over an hour of play time, but so far it is GREAT!!! It's basically the same as any other GOW as far as gameplay. Have you played the originals from the PS3 collection? They were remastered to 720p I believe, this is 1080i. The graphics are quite amazing. I guess you can glide now when jumping, maybe this was in others it's been a while since I played. You eventually have the Blades of Chaos replaced by the Blades of Exile. No real difference in them that I noticed though.All I can really say is that if you liked 1 or 2 you'll love 3.

Whether or not the ultimate edition is worth it is still up in the air. The Pandora's box is kinda cheesy, the booklet of artwork is neat, but not worth the extra. You do get some codes for DLC which includes some type of skin which I believe is for Kratos, seven special arena challenges, as well as a code to download the soundtracks for the trilogy and a metal album inspired by the game apparently. I haven't downloaded any of it so don't know if it was worth it or not.
