I want to rage and vent here a little about how everything is so dam expensive. I just had to mail two small packages, $142 to mail them UPS. I expect maybe $60 for both. Then I go through the drive through at Mcdonalds, and I pay $11 for a combo meal that used to cost $4. Then you have fuel, then you have groceries. No one can make it anymore. Everything keeps rising around me at record rates and I might get $.50 in a year for a raise. It's starting to really get out of control with no end in sight.

$5 meal at McDonalds. I keep telling you.

I went to buy a new toothbrush the other day. Come on, it's a toothbrush. The cheapest I saw was almost $10 for one; this isn't an electric toothbrush.

Blame the tariffs, what people fail to understand is that AMERICAN companies pay the tariffs up front. They then pass it on to you the consumers. If Mr.Tangerine Man gets his way and he goes into Greenland then you will see the mother of all boycotts by the E.U. and sanctions like you've never seen before. EVERYTHING will double in price.
75% of Americans according to recent polls do not want any part of this Greenland adventure but Trumpty Dumpty's ego will cause him to fall off the wall and he will take everybody down with him.

That's why people drive an hour to do their grocery shopping elsewhere. Cheaper gas helps that approach.

I was shaving this morning and thinking about the tariffs that were put on the American people and what they accomplished. Nothing really, but more strain on the American family. Maybe that was the plan all along. If you think back in time, the last generation that could really make a paycheck and have money left over might have been towards the end of the 1960s. What if the tariffs were just another planned setback all along? They saw the public gaining more ground and needed to put them back in their place. Because, as we all know, the prices will never come back down.
