Is college a scam?

To me, it is the same type of issue as why there are so many churches in the US, but can't be solved the same way. There are excesses all across the board due to the "diversity" caused by division. I don't think, again, that there is one blanket statement as to a cause or for a single solution. Obviously, there has to be a balance in "trimming" the fat, and that is always the most objective solution in decision-making. Whomever is in charge of decision-making has to be able to give in a way that somewhat addresses all sides, but has to be willing to take as well. That is a job, in this country, that I would not be envious of.

We have heard recently that the issues in the economy are not going to be solved by trimming fat around taxation, so we are in a position that isn't going to be rectified easily. I have heard recently that a large portion of youth are pushing towards a social democracy like Sweden and the EU. In Minnesota, they practically already have.

I'm saying that more people can see that decisions being made are done according to some policy rulebook and not being made with the heart; these decisions are made for the establishment (too big to fail) and not for the long term stability of the US, particularly from the position of low to middle income families. This has been demonstrated by the nominal inflation comparison of housing price increase and lack of viable wage and purchasing power for the common citizen.

Somewhat related. I feel bad for someone I know with a college degree. They have college loans to pay and aren’t even in the field that they went into. They now have a lifetime car payment and the current field they are in will be replaced with AI soon.
