What's new

No one wanting to work anymore

Sounds like you have a good mix of work experience. Also sometimes it’s good to try something new. I did the same thing for 15 years, so I miss it? Yes and no. I have learned so much more at my current job that I never knew existed or just didn’t understand. It’s not a bad thing to diversify yourself. Plus you’re right. You can trade all your time for money, or enjoy life with less money, it’s really up to you. My time is more precious to me, unfortunately my bills and especially daily living costs these days seem to disagree with me.

The eating out one hit me. I cringe each time when we go out to eat. What was once a treat going out to dinner with the family on a Friday night after a long work week is turning into a non existent thing. The cost of the meal you cringe at, which years ago you never thought anything of because it was affordable.

Especially when you do it a couple times in a weekend. :ROFLMAO:

Pretty much everything. I was burnt out after the first year after graduating high school. $5.50 an hour wasn’t even enough to afford rent, pay car insurance, and groceries. Literally only almost broke even each month or couldn’t afford anything without borrowing from family. That is it and that is all for me… all that’s left is Romans 12. God’s to avenge. Wage slavery is still slavery

It is sadly very unbalanced. It really breaks a man's spirit.
