Here's one for you. If you don't know where the start button is and you take 3 minutes to find it even though I tell you it's in the left bottom of your screen, YOU SHOULD NOT BE USING A COMPUTER!!! :smt092
 
I've had them "punch" the power button on tower when they were told to click on the start button in the lower left hand corner of their screen. :smt021
 
I told this gal to click on the start button, and she says "don't get all technical on me" WTF
 
Just had a lady call in and yell at me because we are not open on weekends. She all freaked out "Who's gonna fix my computer if your not open!" I'm like I don't know what to tell you call the owner. Idiots! :smt062
 
yeah we used to catch hell from a few customers because we aren't open on sundays. "I suppose there aren't any computer problems on Sundays" was the quote from one prick.
 
What a crappy day it never ends. Crappy computers, tons of spyware, viruses, etc. Kazaa, Morpheus, and Limewire can all die. What a bunch of crap programs. Why would anyone in their right mind download these? Anyways, just want to make it to the end of the week then small vacation for me! :-D

One thing that drives me nuts are people who chomp thier teeth when they eat. Even if it is something soft like a PB&J. I can still hear the teeth going chomp, chomp....... :x
 
grrr, the office network is down due to a cisco pix upgrade gone wrong. Stuck on stupid dial up for awhile...
 
Work sucks today, I can't believe how swamped I'm getting. Just another day at the office...
 
What's up with all the wierd people today? Must have something to do with tommorrow being 6-6-06 :twisted:
 
Lightning damage. It really hoses things up. Really torks a guy off when they call in with impaired or fried goodies. Things don't always have to completely die. It'll just act weird as heck to keep a guy troubleshooting.

We don't even deal with that stuff, we just tell them to contact thier insurance. I mean it's tough to say if they will run into problems down the road. But then again most of these people aren't smart enough to either shut down their computers during a storm or unplug them, or just flip the switch on the back of their power supply. Just a little time can save them alot of money.

 
Let see as I am typing this I am on the phone with someone that I have been talking to for at least a half hour now on how to connect to their wireless network, even though they don't use us for thier ISP. :smt091
