From the '70s as far I can tell. I got this from ebay. It works well. I used to have a large ball from target, but we sold that years ago.I'd like one of these:

I had one when they first came out and they were a hot thing. Now they have metal bodies etc. and for the price you can't beat it. All the reviews said these are great and very durable. I have one too. Stand a roll of paper towels up and try to land on it. Also, try to find something you can make into a loop. Fly through progressively smaller loops.

The kids flew them into the wall a few times. They are pretty hardy.

One of my nephews started on these. He flies a quad copter now.

Just wanted to say I received my helicopter and it is freaking amazing for the price. Honestly I can't believe how far they have come. Cat's don't like it though.

Keen to hear your input on the Donkey Kong, Mario Kart and Smash Brothers games. Additionally if you've played Mario Brothers Wii how it compares to Mario Brothers U. All games are null until another side scrolling metroid comes out.
