For real though. This was the reason I bought a XBOX and a wheel.
Mostly @nodle is trying to elude to an Xbox One purchase, but for the most part I do not believe him, and I think one or two others are skeptical as well.

In that case, I'm not convinced either. Is the Xbox One quieter than a 360? That thing is damn loud. At least mine is. If it is indeed quieter, that is enough of a reason to get one.

Yes, the X1 is nearly silent when running generally. You may hear it a bit when you first put a disc in or are installing a game from disc.

Well, it obviously bombed as far as critics were concerned, but their complaints were quite nitpicky, IMO. I think it's great.

Two of the biggest complaints I saw were comparisons to Robocop and Short Circuit, and I think that we're near enough distance away in time to stop comparing movies to ones that came out 27 years ago. I appreciated it for what it was and I think it's a great sci-fi/fantasy story with Blomkamp's particular style, which is also great to me.

There's a reason that we keep getting reboots with slightly different slants (Terminator 5, Ninja Turtles Infinity, Jurassic World, countless others), and they're absolutely terrible movies for the most part (with the exception being Mad Max from what I hear). Anyhow, I feel like the reason is that we, as a generation, have a super keen awareness of - and appreciation for - entertainment memory, as many of our life stories are interlaced with the memories of the past envisioned and enmeshed through the movies of our time growing up.

There are only so many different approaches, though, to the genres that exist in film entertainment, and I'm personally ready to accept movies that are reminiscent of past movies if the story is told well and has its own unique flavor and artistic direction, and this movie has tons of that.

That's just my take, though. I saw other critiques about pacing and whatnot. After watching the movie, I felt like these critiques were the result of a particular axe to grind, and perhaps Blomkamp's earlier work has gotten the attention of the very people who control the media population and are the ones being critiqued in his first two films, as they were mostly about social commentary, pointed particularly against the social elite. They are tales that glorify heroes who are underdogs from the slums, which is the world that the South African crew who work on these films are from.

Compared to the first two Blomkamp films, though, Chappie is more of a fun, existential tale. Childlike, yet violent. Like a futuristic fairy tale for grownups. Also, notice how they labeled the set; Blomkamp 3. We're being pointed towards getting a backstory into who the Director is and where his vision comes from. Whether or not his motives are good or correct is determined by who views the movies, but I find them really enjoyable.

My friend bought Titan Fall complete for the Xbox one.
Do you even like online PvP FPS games? Even the "campaign" in Titanfall is online 6v6 PvP action. Don't get me wrong, I loved the game - but I also play a lot of FPS/PvP. I'm a bit surprised this interested you. If you happen to play it over this up coming weekend I'd join for a few games....
