What's new

Post your recent purchases

The wife bought me WWE2k16 for PS4. Been a long time since I've played a wrestling game and man I'm horrible so far.

for use on my truck while he's gone (2 weeks away, 1 week home) - otherwise they pay like 100 bucks per time for a neighbor to do it.

Yep, I'm basically a caretaker for an upper-middle class guy. I sold a bunch of cords of wood to my dad and mom and my mom's friend this last year, but this year my dad said he needs me to cut all his wood (along with my mom's) so I'm gonna be a busy sob

Hey man there is nothing wrong with that (you don't have to deal with customers). I still plan on going with you someday to help you cut some logs come summer.

I have a team of halflings, dwarves, 2 or 3 sets of humans and orcs for the blood bowl miniature game.  I have the astrogranite field, markers and the dice too.  They aren't painted and the fall back to buying second hand is in this case, I don't have the bases.  So they won't stand on their own while in play.  That is ok, because they aren't painted yet.

The only other interesting thing I think I have gotten recently, is an external USB battery back.  It doesn't look fancy, but gets the job done.

Slowly building what I consider to be my last movie collection: growing up I kept DVDs in CD wallets and eventually they all got scratched. This time I have racks, keep them in their original case, and I don't lend them out. I realize Ice Age and 9 might not be top priority for a movie collection, but I am sort of a big fan of CGI movies, although I am one of the few people I know who doesn't like the toy story movies. Next on the list: more MST3K DVDs (they don't sell em except for the movie in bluray) and Appleseed. (Anime/CGI). Also looking for good recommendations on good anime/CGI hybrids. Got a looooot of alone time coming ;) :( :| :D

Nice. I want the Star Wars set but can't decide if I should get the complete set like that or each individual steel book. I love steel books and I know they are more expensive then getting the one complete set but as mentioned I love steel books.

yeah I really wanted to get Sherlock Holmes #1 in steel set but I couldn't pass up the value of the 2-pack

Since they had them on sale for $39.99 I thought why not. Also grabbed a nice case for it.

Ordered a Bowers & Wilkins AWS610 sub to accompany the other speakers I got back in january/feb about a month ago.  Finally came in yesterday.  Mine has a black finish though, not the wood grainhttp://dl.getdropbox.com/u/180319/ASW610.jpg
Also,  there were a few issues with my Pioneer Elite SC-05, so was going to swap it out for a new one, but ended up upgrading to the SC-07.  Looks identical from the front.  Little more power per channel.  THX Ultra certified vs THX select,  3 zones rather than 2, and has 2 HDMI outputs rather than just 1.
Wow... time flies apparently... nearly 7 years ago I bought those speakers... cripes.  Anyway - finally got around to finishing my speaker setup and ordered some B&W 683's to put as front left and right speakers.  The large bookshelf speakers I've had there will move to being the rear speakers and the cheap/crummy Sony bookshelves I have as the rear speakers now will pretty much be junk I guess.
