Can't tell if being serious or not. Did you get one?
Yes

Beats having to care for a built in swimming pool and the liability aspect too.
Being above ground, you don't have to fence your yard - but ours is fenced anyway.  I'd take a built in, but way spendier.  This is a mid-ground option.  It's construction is well above most soft side above ground pools (Intex for example), so you don't have to set it up in the spring and fill it, then drain and tear it down in the fall.  All we have to do is drain it below the white area and then let it freeze solid for the winter.Still have to check water properties and add this or that to keep it from growing algae or getting entirely unsanitary, but that isn't too bad.  The dealer we got it from tests water free and chemicals aren't terribly priced.

At around 10,000 gallons, it takes a bit of sun to warm it up and even at about 80 degrees it feels chilly when its warm out, and if the air temp is lower it feels decent for a bit but eventually cool too.  Given the investment, considering having a natural gas line trenched out from the meter on the house and getting a heater.  Would make it more comfortable, plus would extend the number of months it could be used.

Guess I missed the Edit window.  Unlikely to be this year, but will most likely eventually put a small deck around it, which will give it more of an in ground feel.  It will also be a little easier on the eyes than this big blue/white rubber bladder on steel legs sitting in the yard

Just ordered a bunch of miscellaneous stuff. No clue why. I need to stay off of Amazon. Bought some preppers stuff too.

Picked up 6 x 8' landscaping timbers, 10 bags of paver gravel, 5 bags of paver sand, 10 oddly shaped pavers and some paver set sand early in the weekend.  Put them all together to build a roughly 80" x 40" platform out in the yard (a couple landscape timbers tall) - now the sand filter has a solid level area to sit, and room beside it for addition of a heater eventually.

You doing like a small patio deck?

You doing like a small patio deck?
just a small raised platform - like I said earlier, it's only about 80" x 40 " so nothing too big, just a slightly raised paver deck that is level for the pool's sand filter and eventually a pool heater to sit on.It is about 5-6" tall so nothing crazy, but the way the yard slopes away from the house, the pool isn't level - so put this in at a height where in a year or two we could take the pool down, bring in sand and level off the area under the pool and it would be level with this little platform if we did that and would leave room to potentially put a small deck around the pool as well to give it an "in-ground" feel

New pair of shoes. Ended up buying basically the same pair I am wearing now just the updated version. These have been the best pair of shoes that I have ever owned.

Local store has some pretty good deals on their sprinkler accessories. Bought a nice tripod mounted sprinkler (this is what everyone uses around here). Also picked up some tree spikes and some other things. Going to go back and get another tripod mount sprinkler and a 130' hose.

Bought a new mailbox. More and more sprinkler supplies (I think I am finally down for now). A glow stick flashlight. New hat.

I gotta stay away from garage sales around here. Bought a real nice truck box, and a yard wagon, that I only had to replace the tube in the tire.

New telescope lens set. Fuel filter for my lawnmower and new car stereo and wires and parts to make it fit and work.

Bought a used camper. Can't complain for the money though. Needs some work but should be a fun project.
