The end of the internet? Things are about to change drastically.

Well, I saw that Google announced yesterday that it will prioritize AI answers over human answers coming up here in their searches. What does this all mean? Well, a few things. The biggest is what AI says goes; even if a human disagrees with it or has another opinion, it will no longer matter when it doesn't show up in search results. This will also kill off forums such as Fluxoid. There won't be a point in putting out information when AI disagrees with it.

At its Google I/O conference on Tuesday, Google unveiled an AI-powered overhaul of Search centered around a reimagined “intelligent search box” — what the company describes as the biggest change to this entry point to the web since the search box debuted more than 25 years ago.
