Not really possible, to the extent you are looking for, as we aren't kids anymore. Those were feels unique to that time in your life.

Well a person can have a fondness for things. I still like to look at my original TMNT figures and old dirt bike once in awhile when I go back home but it's not the same feeling as having them as a kid. At least not for me.Nostalgia drives a lot of things; I mean look at all the toy collectors. People want to relive the feeling they got the first time.
That's the benefit of those who have daughters. They are more likely to take care of their parents in old age. Just the way it works usually.^ Part of why I have been helping my folks. I do most of their hard work for them, otherwise they would have to hire someone else to do it.
Helping them is a full time job, but sometimes it can be very easy. I probably only need another 10 hours per week to really challenge myself.
Then I think about people who are aging whose kids make them go into a home. I just couldn't imagine being so cold towards the only people who loved me.
Thats part of why I became a CNA & did home health care. Getting old sucks..
See it frequently. My extended family included. Elderly parents moving in with the children. Heck even our friends locally here recently had the wife's parents from Florida move in with them. I will be out of luck, no daughters.Do you have experience with that kind of thing?
