I tried out some online play last night with a guy from work. The campaign on this one has me sucked into the story, but I think I need to go back and play 1 & 2. Picked up the Epic edition Monday here at work.

I ordered it from Newegg as that was the only place I found to still have this available. Should get it next week. Epic edition is too much for my wallet. How about you get one and send it to me? I won't get an Iphone...... ;)

 
Last night I bought an old record player from a guy at work. Nothing to look at, but I've wanted a record player for a long time. No records just yet.

Records shops are still out there, just have to now where to find them. They are rare these days though.

The Best Buy in town here carries vinyl, of course its all newer stuff. I know there used to be a shop or two downtown where one could find used albums

 
Better get on it, from what I have read online it's becoming quite the hard game to get, best buys are selling out etc. I got mine yesterday during the day and a coworker went to get one in the evening and they were sold out. When I got mine they had 5 copies still.

Bah.. its not like they won't make more. If it takes a few months I can live with it, but if I see one I'll keep this in mind

 
I ordered some soldering supplies and a netgear n900. I'd link to it, but I am on my wifes phone and typing is hard enough.
 
Do you like to solder? I do a little here and there at work. It's becoming a lost art with all the new electronics these days.
 
I had some loose crimps in my arcade so I thought I would solder them instead. Also I'll use it on my speakers too.

I learned you need a good soldering gun, not that cheap pen tool I have. I can't solder worth crud with that. I might in the near future buy a good one.

 
The supplies I got were a helping hand, with a magnifying glass, solder tip scrubber, and some solder wick. I have misplaced my solder iron, so I think I'll have to replace it too; it was one of those you get from menards anyway. I'm most familiar with those blue Weller models that have the base, adjustable temp, holder that have the heavy duty with cable from the base to the iron. I'd like to get one of those. In the mean time, I am hoping to find it once I clean up my work bench or the garage.
