So where did you find this available last week? I had thought I'd skip it, then was looking for it for quite a while and it was sold out everywhere. I ordered it from Amazon who briefly had it in stock on Tuesday. Wondering what will show up for sure, as I've heard of at least one guy who got the PC game after pre-ording the Xbox N7 edition months ago. Makes me wonder if I got his copy that Amazon had in stock due to shipping issues. Will find out Monday when I get the package I guess. I heard gamestop also had some available briefly yesterday
Sexy... B)27" LED Monitor to add to my desk. Nice upgrade from my old (7-8 years ago) 15" samsung LCD monitor. Got it from the gal for the big 3-0 last weekhttp://www.samsung.com/us/system/consumer/product/ls/27/a3/ls27a350hsza/S27A350H_7.jpg
I always keep an eye on cheapassgamer and last week someone posted saying Best Buy so I gave it a try. Mine said it shipped so hoping it is what I ordered and not damaged. So where did you find this available last week? Nice. I guess I missed that on CAG or BB. I checked BB a few times and it was always out of stock online, generally order through them or purchase there in town unless someone has a much better price available. I don't really like BB, but it's the only place in town for some things and if I'm going to buy I may as well get some reward zone points out of it I guess...I always keep an eye on cheapassgamer and last week someone posted saying Best Buy so I gave it a try. I just bought a gold package last week at $36. By the way, I hate Modern Warfare 3 online people, don't they have a life or job?! All you hear sometimes is sqeaky voices and they run around killing you in one or two shots.Bought another 12months of xboxlive $29.99 this time.
Some of them can get pretty old for sure. I still jump online and play with a group of random people at times, in which case I never put a headset on, but I generally stick to Team Deathmatch. I've found I prefer when I have a friend or two online playing that we get into the same game and use the Party functionality. That we we can talk amongst ourselves and not hear any of the others we get paired with.I just bought a gold package last week at $36. Yep, I know what you mean. Ask nodle. As far back as I can recall every single person seems to either sound like a chipmunk, pre-puberty immature prick or only knows how to combine any standard words with swear words. To be honest, it's a true sign of the downward spiral of our youth and now you see why I don't even want my kids playing games.I just bought a gold package last week at $36. Well, I guess I'll see if I can spiral this off topic further. I agree with you on this, however I don't know if it is entirely a downward spiral of youth, yes they are terrible on these things, but I think parents are more to blame for this. No spanking, no discipline, no fear or respect being instilled into kids. I think games are fine for kids, but I really don't get people that let young kids play these types of games. I know some who justify letting kids play Halo because it's just shooting aliens not people, or because it isn't as bloody or some horse manure. If you want to let your kid play these games fine, but at least do some supervision.Yep, I know what you mean. Ask nodle. Maybe we should move this discussion to a new rant thread? I see your point and yes I was way over stating my point about kids and games. Kids need to play age appropriate games if they are goign to be allowed to play games. When they are old enough or intelligent enough to understand that games are just games and that they are entertainment only than is when they can play more mature games. Also, game time needs to be limited. Yes, parents do need to discipline more and quit letting their kids act the way they do. Can you agree with me on this though? Parents let their children spend too much time playing games which is basically letting games raise kids without teaching proper morals and life skills? Proper parenting needs the parents to be with their children, raise them, teach proper morals, life skills, etc. no matter how hard that may be.Well, I guess I'll see if I can spiral this off topic further. Fully agree with you sir... Was just saying I think that parents are mostly to blame for the downward spiral. Everyone blames games or something else (TV, movies, etc) for kids behaviors, but I blame parents for all of it. Do your job and commit to raising a child, instilling morals, life skills and so forth as you stated, or don't have kids and maintain your responsibility free lives. They just put their kids in front of TV/Movie/Game as a baby sitter, and then blame someting for their parental shortcomings. As a result we get to deal with their dumb ass kids in online gaming and news headlines.Maybe we should move this discussion to a new rant thread?
