What Did You Buy Recently? New Gadgets, Tech & Other Purchases

They are still one of the bigger cell makers, but haven't been big in the US market for a while. Walk into an ATT store and ask about the Lumia 900. Every employee has one. Nokia's primary smartphones will all use Windows Phone 7 going forward. ATT is saying this will be their biggest launch ever (bigger than iPhone) in terms of their promotion of the device and such. Release is 4/8, so you'll soon see a lot more about them...

Just curious if this ever got to be a big launch like you were saying? I did see one commercial about it but haven't seen anything close to iPhone publicity.

I've seen some ads, and the stores as selling them pretty quickly, but thus far I haven't seen any overwhelming amount of advertizing

 
It was the number one selling product on Amazon for about 2 days in a row. My new coworker got one on the release day. The second day he had it he had a bunch of problems and they released an update? Then just yesterday it died for no apparent reason. He had to take it back to the store and get another one.

I think it was top seller for more than 2 days, unless you are talking more than being top selling in wireless devices. I think it's been at the top of their wireless since before it released. There were a limited number of people that had issues, but Nokia stepped up and got an update pushed out in less than a week plus they are giving all owners $100 credit on their cell bill whether they had the issue or not to make up for it. Anyway within my family there are now 5 of these devices owned and only one had any issue, which was corrected by the udpate.

 
Netgear n300. Was kinda a last minuted purchase we got some in work today, plus I had been needing to upgrade to a N. One awesome feature out of the box is it supports opensource firmwares like Tomatoe and DD-wrt and others officially. Running stock atm.

LOL. Actually the Ipad and case are for Mother in Law. Protein is for after workouts and in morning because it's healthier than ice cream and tastes great if made right. Games are for wife........ ;) oh and:B2hbg.webp
