What Did You Buy Recently? New Gadgets, Tech & Other Purchases

I bought a Targus laptop case/backpack from a rummage sale. It has the NDTC logo embroided on the front.

For a dollar.

 
I think it was top seller for more than 2 days, unless you are talking more than being top selling in wireless devices. I think it's been at the top of their wireless since before it released. There were a limited number of people that had issues, but Nokia stepped up and got an update pushed out in less than a week plus they are giving all owners $100 credit on their cell bill whether they had the issue or not to make up for it. Anyway within my family there are now 5 of these devices owned and only one had any issue, which was corrected by the udpate.

I heard today that Nokia is elminating 10,000 jobs. Someone was talking about this movie, and I forgot how good it was. For those who haven't seen it I would highly recommend it.

Haven't seen that one in a while. I want to pick up the latest Sherlock Holmes movie and Safehouse one of these days.

As for recent purchases I bought a crap load of lumber and composite decking material... Hoping to have a deck finished by the end of the month. The frame is mostly up and some decking on, but lots to do yet

I have a few books coming, some stuff for my xbox.

Last week we got a 12' x 36" pool, a ladder what not.

Today I received my Raspberry Pi. I have never been able to run linux on any PC (compaq, e-machine just don't seem to work for me) and thought this would be neat. Don't expect much from me about it for awhile because I don't have an extra keyboard and all of that yet.
