Computers are not where I am knowledgable, but I have an annoying problem with mine.  In about 30 minutes of being on the internet I will have approximatley 15 to 20 pop ups and it's damn annoying.  I have the web browser pop-up blocker on, I've ran hijackthis and spybot but still get these...

So... I'm running out of projects to work on in my garage (or money to spend on fixing things for the moment too)  anyhow... I've been browsing about and looking at some apps to do some web design and want to try out OS X for it a bit as well (along with a few little sample scripts for things...

I work in desktop support ya know.  I'd like to know some html or java or otherwise web code that I could use to find out details like the os and browser version as well as MAC, IP, default gateway and such. If you know of a website that does that already, that would be just as handy...

Well I tried firefox along time ago and had all sorts of problems with it. Then again it was a beta way back then. But I installed it at home here and it really is nice, and way faster than Internet Explorer. I am glad I switched back. What do you currently use?
