Instead of so many versions of windows, why doesn't Microsoft just make one OS called "windows". I know there is no money to be made without releasing new ones here and there. But if you kept working on one version it could be real rock solid. You could charge say for the "service packs" or...

Has anyone downloaded this to the aspire one?  I'd like to but my wife has been pretty protective of it, she is afraid I'll take it over and she won't get to use it once I start loading stuff to it.

Anyone have any idea when Windows 7 will come out?  I see its in beta...read the rearm utility works 5 times, for a month at a time, does that mean it will hit the streets in May? Or later?  Thoughts & theories welcome.
