I think I read this morning that Microsoft has access to Open AI source code now.
 
Something else to consider too, robots and AI require physical resources, similar to ones that humans need.  Think about it. 

 
I wonder how far they are into Ai? I mean the artwork blows my mind, but let's face it I bet places like DARPA have been experimenting with this stuff since the early 2000s. The software running on computers is impressive. But what happens when you dump the program into something with movements? If it can free think within a sandbox environment what happens when it gets something with movement control. Say you make a robotic arm and you allow full finger movement. Would the Ai paint? What would it do? Or put it in a full robotic human shell. What would it do? Pretty scary when you think about it. All the brian power like a human, no emotions or soul like a human to stop it from doing bad things.
