Well yeah that's what is going to happen. Elon has said as much. In his mind, eventually people will only have to work if they want to work. And then we will have universal basic income for all.
Ya this is really not a good thing. (At this point in my life I would be for it though lol).
On Tuesday, per Reuters, Trump revoked an executive order signed by Joe Biden aimed at reducing the dangers of AI, with companies required to share safety tests with the U.S. government before public release of AI systems.

People using the presidency to increase their money, not jobs, in the US.
Neither am I, I hate anything that doesn't come from real work and people building actual relationships. The potential for failure is already through the roof in everyday practice, everything that isn't word of mouth in terms of complex ideas and technology is fully loaded with bullsh*t.
Shouldn't be surprised people would be dumb enough to do that.
America is in damage control over DeepSeek. I have noticed this the day after it was introduced. It first started that it wasn’t real, next they said it was cheating with so many gpus etc. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they banned it next. Open Ai is government funded and this put a damper on the company. It’s a modern day moon landing race and America was just knocked out of the lead. They are in discredit mode right now, and will take further steps next to make sure no one gets ahead of them and win.
They all use Nvidia products. Just not the latest model (supposedly).
