What's new

All things World of Warcraft

30 minutes Que just to log into tonight and game laggy as hell, to many people on playing. I’ll try again tomorrow.

got trashmaster title for getting the cloak from KU-J0 in operation mechagon, season 2 heroic

been playing my human brewmaster monk and my main is still void elf outlaw rogue.. my warband consists also of an undead frost mage and preservation evoker (lvl 77)

this season (2) you can pretty much only get to 605 (heroic and raid finder level) by using valor stones to upgrade stuff from normals... that might change when timewalking hits on tuesday, though.

*edit* it's MoP timewalking

i bought the $40 thing here:

I do the MoP stuff because I have all of the titles, Remix titles, and most of the good mounts from MoP. Collection is complete (for me) in other words. :)

edit update: delves and weekly quests are the way to go with LFR in between, got quite a few stones for upgrades from undermine content.. I don't know what's going on with ilvl because I think they are still tweaking things, because I haven't been able to do mythics and it feels like m0 is for 630+ so it's a bit of a climb. I really like the design of the new raid, though. Lots of interesting mechanics

had a good week taking breaks every hour then playing again

I am just not really into this latest patch. Not really into the whole goblin Vegas theme. I don't mind doing the LFRs but the rest of it is just bland for me. I am not impressed with the tier 2- or 4-piece combo procs. It seems like the developers got lazy, same with the transmog items as well this patch.

I got frustrated and quit for a few days. I'm just kinda hangin on to my sub because I want to get the 12 month trading post thing still. I agree though they're not doing a good job with balancing - lazy! oh well

The groups I see this season 2 haven't changed much since season 1. I was just trying to run 4 Mythics 0 so I could get my weekly. Dam trying to even get into a 0 as a DPS is even harder to get into than season 1. This is why I hate doing Mythics, people are too serious and toxic. Blizzard could solve this fairly easy by incorporating a system for Mythics like they have for the random dungeon finder. All it would have to do is pair with your ilvl and put you in a Mythic with overs that have the same ilvl as you.

Also, I am surprised at how tough a 0 is now.

Yeah I'm pointing at them purposely scaling the mythic difficulty by a lot during Undermine release. They are more difficult than they ever have been and the finder is feeling more & more "constructed". I wouldnt be surprised if they threw pre-programmed bots into each mythic queue. None of them are behaving like real players and the vibe feels really weird. Hard to explain unless you've played mythic extensively.

I would describe their programming and game development as 'ominous' lately. There isn't another word to describe it... ah well, still a tiny bit of hope somewhere in there way down the line... doesn't look good though

Interesting, I know I was playing last week and the guy goes "what am I playing with bots" because no one was talking. I go "I am a bot, beep bop beep" and he started laughing.

I haven't been too impressed with all the latest WoW content lately, I log in then do a couple of things then log off. It's been really boring lately. There is new content but none of it interests me.

I am kind of disappointed in WoW lately, it seems like these little time gated scenarios they are releasing are boring, and too long and drawn out. Plus looks like they are releasing more and more back to back.

Yep, mini content scenarios meant to draw out minor content & balance patches with expansions far in between.
All I can do is point back to WotLK. Devs weren't nearly as concerned with player experiences, caps, or goals. They worked hard months and years and released a product that only required fine tuning for classes and above that, they were happy with letting people sit back and actually enjoy it.

Every time I play now I get the sense some overactive micromanager type is trying to gage my feedback levels or something so that they can sell a half finished micro patch in a month. Feels... forced... inauthentic...

Maybe that's also because I really also have a sense how much executives are overpaid these days. /rant
