^ don't doubt many other cases like that have happened since Twitch's popularity rise. I have literally experienced so many bugs relating to instances/zones and chat bugs. I would probably say they would blame add-on functionality but I rarely used add-ons. I think it was all their lead programmers covering over weird experiences in-game due to manipulation of gameplay and loot tables, which caused connected (or networked) zones to collapse in connectivity. Lots of weird behavior led me to believe in the problem being due to micro-managing by devs and GMs
didn't have any problems whatsoever in the first 5 or 6 years of WoW, though. The golden days. Spent 3 days farming disgusting oozes in the swamp to sell for massive gold influx
sadly, i confess I did purchase gold online once or twice before they allowed you to buy it - I think around when Legion came out because i wanted the AotC mount
I'm still gonna play WoW classic on hardcore mode again, though. But for all those other reasons I probably won't ever take retail seriously again. So many people pulling and pushing over dumb pixels. Reminds me of star wars galaxies for some reason
