Ok every time I see the cost of a bag of beef jerky it makes me rage. I was in the grocery store yesterday, and was crazy beef jerky. I went to the aisle, and my jaw dropped at the prices. This post almost belongs to the Paranormal & Conspiracies forum, because there is no way beef jerky should cost so much. This has to be pumped up like diamonds or something to hold their value. It's just meat, spices, and smoke. From what I can tell it's marked up about 3 times what the actual worth is. Even a small bag with scraps in it is like $6-$8 dollars. It's enough for like one bite. It has always been this way for as long as I can remember. I couldn't justify it and left empty handed.
