Mod Retro Discussion

You know I have never really taken a serious look at these, but they are legit systems. Plus, they are backed by a sweet company. It's like having a classic gaming system from your childhood. Has anyone else ever thought about getting one? I sure wish I had my old cartridges for my Game Boy. It makes me sad to wonder what ever became of them. I'm sad I missed out on the limited release of the Anduril edition.

The games are even cooler; they include a physical box and cartridge, and a charm for each one.

Physical cartridges made for the Chromatic, including new originals and beloved classics you can hold, trade, and keep forever. All cartridges are sold in physical boxes with printed manuals and unique charm collectibles.

I did some more research today, and for those of you who have your own ROM backups, you can buy this and play them all, and load/save them as well.

Man I really miss all my Gameboy games I had. I have no clue what happened to them. I assume my mom gave them away or took them to a Goodwill or something. I went out to Ebay to see what they cost, some are reasonable, but man some are insanely expensive. Looks like physical cartridges are making a comeback with a price tag attached. Not bad for 30+ year old games.
