Oil bust inevitable

Big drop in crude at least. Maybe the one good thing about the variant scares?
They must think we are going to go into lockdown again, I hate to bust their bubble, but America won't fall for it again.

WTI just went over $80 this morning.
I read an article yesterday saying that come this winter there is going to be a big deal made out of fuel/electric supply. You will probably start seeing it more and more on the news. Also the prices are suppose to sky rocket as well, and something about power companies going under and not being able to get materials due to the material shortage. Guess we will wait and see.

Oil futures took a split path on Monday, with the global benchmark ending lower for the first time in three sessions and the U.S. benchmark significantly paring early gains after both touched multiyear highs.

The lofty prices for crude raised the potential for demand destruction in the energy market, an analyst said.

Natural-gas prices, meanwhile, fell by nearly 8% on Monday, as a forecast for warmer weather helped to ease worries about winter energy supplies.

Gas slowly rising here. I know a hwile back it was under $3. I remember there was a week it went up twice in just a few days. It was 3.09 for a while and yetserday and now is at 3.14.

Haven't driven my car in a month or so. But this reminds me I should charge my battery, so I can start my gas engine, drive to a gas station and fill up a 5 gallon tank in order to fuel my snow blower.
