Stocks, Investing and Retirement Accounts

The market can’t figure out what it wants to do lately after the other day.

The best way to approach this is to just buy at a certain time each month when you have money. ETF's/index funds for beginners, same or individual stocks for those with more experience/knowledge. That is why retirement accounts tend to do so well over time. Sometimes you buy high, sometimes you buy low. But it is a consistent automatic purchase every month without thinking about it.

I have this setup. I basically have funds deposited every Friday for a set amount. Periodically when my roundups get high enough they get deposited randomly.

Quite a bounce up again today. Didn't really expect it today. Going to be a big earnings week. (Google, Amazon, among others.)

I just came in here to post the same saying how today is shaping up nicely. Still have a ways from the devastation of last week.
I heard Nvidia was tanking.
The semi's tanked hard during the selloff. Has been rallying lately.

My boss was telling me about this local group of guys that got in on this Alzheimer's stock, since they knew someone that worked there. Got in about $8, and it's about $55 now. Guess some put in about 100k each at the time, so they made out good.
I have a feeling it’s going to be a bloodbath today.
Well yeah the futures are ugly.
Kinda sucks waiting on tax form for this stuff.
I usually don't file until March or so anyways. Hasn't been a problem.
I heard Amazon is supposed to tank.
Might be a tough quarter and the market is kind of angry at high valued technology companies right now. They might be able to salvage it if they announce stock split and raise the price of Prime.

I don't get why everyone is angry? Are they going after tech companies for some reason, I can see if Amazon didn't reach their expected earning. The whole Meta thing makes sense because no one wants that shit.
