[/QUOTE]Market will likely go down more as the fed aggressively tightens to fight inflation. It is demand destruction basically. Fed trying to slam on the brakes to slow down people buying things through higher interest rates. This will also slow down business earnings as people buy less "stuff", probably will lay off workers etc. Hopefully not leading to a bad recession but it is possible. It's the cycle of things once in awhile.

[/QUOTE]I'm just saying it will go down further in my opinion. Especially tech which is out of favor right now. The problem is, when this cycle changes (and it will eventually) tech flies up fast. Trying to time things is usually a losing battle.

I am just going to ride it out but I have made some adjustments. Also, I would recommend buying some on big dips. Who doesn't like a sale?

I don't plan on moving the stock money for 20+ years so this is but a small blip on the radar.

 
Well, I have noticed that sometime Mondays bump up really fast, so I still have hope. I am not quite negative yet but hanging on by a thread.

 
Well after 3 years it finally happened, I have officially lost money, 3 years of gains all wiped out.

Well after all my empty threats I finally did it. Sold off most of my stuff. Kept a small amount, but the amount of loss won't hurt so bad. After consulting my investment advisor @jmanz I don't see this going anywhere for a while and only darker days to come. Truthfully looking back, I would have made more money just keeping it under my mattress. 

 
Looks like I bailed at the perfect time. That opening bell this morning is gonna hurt.

[/QUOTE]If people are relying on Facebook Meta whatever that isn’t going to make up for the rest of the failing market. While Apple and Amazon are bigger players, they are still all tech stuff and a small slice into the entire market. Facebook is bound to fail in the future their days are numbered. Besides we all know how the dance is done:

The market opens - goes up

Mid morning - starts to slid

After lunch - goes back up

Closing bell - everything is engrossed in flames

Wake up the next day - repeat

[/QUOTE]Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon and Facebook dominate the market. A lot is riding on the big boys tonight. But after this week is done, back to the bad news.
