Me today because I don't have to worry anymore.

I was up reading last night about how a lot of people think a big crash is incoming. I know, I know we have all heard it before, but it seems to be more and more of a common theme on some of the financial boards I visit every once and awhile. What’s your take?

Wow etc, maybe I spoke to soon...200.gif
But above you said you didn't have to worry anymore which I took as you were done with the stupidity of trying to be a trader. Did you lie?

If you are investing (long term on quality stock) this is every day anyway. There's ups and downs, but historically it just goes up over time. Now if you are day/swing trading and trying to time the market, that is not the case.

Also, remember if you are parking large amounts somewhere making less than 3% annual growth you are essentially losing money to inflation. Having some on the sidelines for an emergency fund is necessary though

I have a few investments still.

Was reading peoples reactions on the market last night. Looks like quite a few people are putting a 'hold' on their investments? Can you do this? Anyways some of them are yanking everything out until these next 4 years are over.

What do you mean a "hold" on their investments. You mean they are holding, as in they are not selling and just riding the ups/downs? You really have 2 choices with a stock you own. Hold onto it, or sell it.

I didn't understand it either, I think they just meant not doing any more purchases until the next 4 years are over.

The only "hold" there is, is to not sell or buy. And I'd say putting political bias into stocks one way or the other is not the wisest of strategies. Too many variables.

Honestly surprised, I thought the market would be fine today with the stimulus announcement, looks like it didn’t go over to well.

Hard times coming soon.
Sure if you say so... Covid didn't slow the train, don't think whatever you think will. Not saying I really don't partially disagree but just saying an opinion where you have been wrong a lot on isn't the way. Get into cards and stop hating your life playing WOW. You support that garbage CEO and company still?

My financial advisor @jmanz told me so. He keeps telling me to invest in this Enron company that is suppose to take off.

Call it whatever year you want but they are worth more than your house.
Be honest, whenever has a Michael Jordan or other true legend vintage card ever lost value? You know it's true if those ever lose their value the whole economy is probably in trouble and worthless along with any money or other "real" investment. Just stop denying, why not have fun with an investment. I know you don't like sports so I can see why turning your head but for sports fans it's not only something they enjoy but also a hobby with something of value.
