Subway sandwich flavors

Do any of you agree that any cold cut sandwich you get at Subway always taste the same? If it's a hot sandwich like a meatball or something then of course it will have a different flavor, but as far as the rest no matter what cheese etc. you get on them, they always have the same flavor. Even the bread really makes no difference. Everything just taste like the "Subway" taste. Wouldn't you agree?

I agree. On another note, I always seem to get dry hard bread now. It used to be decent but no more. For me bad bread ruins the sandwich.

I guess I haven't ate there consistently enough to notice that. I have two sandwiches that I get there and I put completely different stuff on them. I probably eat there less than 5 times per year.

The only thing that changes on my sub sandwiches are the meat. Otherwise I always get the same peppers, olives, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper.

We went to Subway for lunch yesterday, I really don't eat at Subway to much since getting really sick from there a few times. But I noticed they have a whole new menu. I ordered their new 'The Boss' sandwich, which is basically their meatball sandwich. I was impressed they actually used real mozzarella, big slices of it as well, and the sandwich was really decent. And their prices were decent, we did have a coupon though.

Didn't you get sick off of them on a trip? No wait that was the Mongolian barbecue place. :ROFLMAO:
Yeah that was Mongolian. Haven't been back to another place like that again. Not that I really cared for that stuff in the first place but....Regarding Subway, we have other options here like Jimmy Johns and Jersey Mike's...would just go there.

Jimmy Johns and Jersey Mike's
I know Jimmy Johns; I haven't heard of Jersey Mike's though. We have a Firehouse subs in another town. Remember Quiznos?

Jersey Mike's is really popular, looks like you have 7 of them in your state. I haven't tried them yet as we just got them not long ago. Yeah would go to Quiznos once in awhile back in the day. I've heard Firehouse is pretty good but haven't tried.

Like any chain, the quality will vary by location. Jersey Mike's that I've tried was good, but nothing special. Firehouse has some great subs, I really like their New York Steamer, but had a debacle with the local Firehouse and they've gone downhill, so no longer give them business.

In case anyone was curious - firehouse canceled a large $80 on me, but still charged my card and then basically refused to refund the money. Each one is a franchise, so calling corporate all they would do is log the fact I was calling (again) and let the place know. The only way I ever got my cash back was filing a dispute with my credit card issuer and waiting out that process.

my go to is tried and true, but i find it's better if i go in and order in person
and it goes:
6 inch whole wheat
oven roasted chicken
pepper jack cheese, toasted
lettuce, green peppers, onions
i specifically ask for four (4) jalapenos
baja chipotle sauce
and if they have or offer parmasean cheese i will take some

and a water with raspberry cheesecake cookie

MMMM!!!! but it's always the same. i don't like anything else there

This is an actual dilema, half is not enough, but the full is too much sometimes.
So I'll try to snack on something else to satisfy that craving, and be content knowing I'll wake up to the other half of the sub the next morning, like Christmas Day all over again as a kid.
