Locally it's 5%, but I think that's even high. The same house can be flipped as many times as possible with a 5-6% commission, which does get included in the selling price. which artificially inflates an already high price. And yes, technically the commission is on the seller, but they increase the price to pad it in, or as much as they can before negotiations.This is cool...not sure what changes will happen...will realtors set their own prices now??
That is because they come from states like California and they have sold their homes for large amounts and are moving to other areas and paying cash for the home and banking the rest.
