What's new

Virtual reality and headsets

Bumped up numbers I’m sure.
It was a limited release mainly to developers and I guess people that can easily afford the new gadget. They'll drop prices eventually down to $1k with later versions to make it interesting to more people. I've heard some analysts speculate that 5 years from now, this will bring in 15% of Apple's revenue. Remains to be seen. People doubted the watch and AirPods too.

They make more sense and can be used all day long. If you have something strapped to your eyes it's mainly for home use, along with all the cables.

I'm just saying the VR market is slower to take off than I ever thought it would be. Just never seems to catch on.

VR is not something I'm interested in but I could see a market for it for some people. Younger generation for example seems to like it.

Doesn't matter to Apple if a scalper or real person bought it, still a sold product.
You can sell as many as you want. Still, it won't catch on since real humans won't be using it, and they will sit in a warehouse somewhere. Eventually it will die out just like the rest of the VR stuff.

It could be a fad. Apple usually doesn't miss though when they go in on something.

I agree, but this isn't something a normal person can use all throughout the day like their other products, this is something that you would mainly use in off hours at home. It is going to be a niche market.

I saw that the other day and that is actually very useful. I think the same thing could be applied to fertilizing/spraying fields as well.
