What Did You Buy Recently? New Gadgets, Tech & Other Purchases

Well I did it. To make a long story short' date=' Well I got tired of waiting for Newegg so I ordered the 4600+ from Mwave. Plus I got the free age of empires 3 game, plus as a bonus I had a coupon for $10 off any purchase that I had come up automatically when I checked out. Can't beat that! [/quote']That's awesome sir. I used to order from Mwave all the time. Have you ordered from them before? Looks like they gave you lots of goodies with it.

Ya I did about 8 years ago, It was a welcome back coupon, plus I really wasn't suppose to get the free game, they pulled it now I see so you can't get the game anymore lol.

mmmmm age of empires 3...good stuff
umm... the CPU is far more intriguing than the game jmanz... Can't wait to hear how the 4600+ performs
Well i am going from a 3200+ single core to a 4600+ dual core, so I am sure I will notice a difference. :-)

should be good as long as there isn't much udp traffic ;-)
who's worried about UDP' date=' I need it to handle TCP traffic[/quote']I'm afraid we can't allow that sir.
Afraid the Linksys is already far outperforming the D-Link... doesn't need rebooting a couple times a day to keep internet going and allow others at the server

Put her in last night, nice and snappy. Espically when doing tons of things at once. I like it.

yeah just have a gamecube for now, yeah not as sexy as the ps2 or 360 but am waiting probably until ps3 comes out. Is there the fatigue bug on the 360? At least the game for the cube plays clean unlike some of the bugs i've been reading about for the other systems.

yeah the big one was that players never got tired and I think that was on 360. I'm not sure if that got patched or not before release or what the deal was. Anyways, not a good deal since this is EA's big game.

Have not played yet but hopefully some of the big ones can be patched since 360 has live and a hard drive to save fixes to. We will see. Stupid EA.

Well I got them a couple of days ago and they are pretty cool.  You can tell these are cheaper ones cause they are pretty loud when they turn.  The software is something to be desired but if all you are going to use them for is organizing the disc itself and not the files that are on them, they are prefect.  I use them for all of my dvd's and another cool feature is that you can put a note on the disc when you pop it out so you know who has what.  For the money, I think they are a good deal.  If you want the better software and probably more reliable construction, go for the more pricy ones, but you may be spending twice as much.
