Messed up on my old glass bed. I had a mat on each side and I don't think it was allowing the bed to heat to the correct temperatures. So I removed one side last night and spent two hours trying to remove the glue. Ughhhh. What a pain.
 
Got my dehydrator setup tonight. Pulled it out of the box and went to town. You just clip around all the edges of the plates with a cutter and it makes it into a nice filament dryer. I've got a spool out there right now drying out.
 
I am considering getting another 3D printer, a smaller one this time since I have such a large footprint with my current and can print large things, it would be nice to have a smaller scaled one.
 
Well got a mini delta to play with. Yes I know small base but should be fine for small stuff, plus first delta.

So got my delta mini. Amazon smashed up the box pretty good, almost sent it back. Everything seems to be in decent shape. I don't know what to say about the little machine. I was going to send it back, but it actually does quite good and prints really great quality, so I think I will keep her.
 
So I got my borosilicate glass plate yesterday and I had some old thermal tape sitting around. I cut three little tabs and placed them on the build plate and then placed the glass on top. Worked like a charm. Then I tried a test print. Perfect. I have to say for the money the Delta Mini is a nice little machine. Yes it's got a small build platform and it's noise and it has more flaws, but the prints are great quality and it prints fast because of the design.
 
Printed quite a large print last night. Just started it and walked away. Still impressed by this little beast. Plus it prints super fast. Way faster than my larger 3D printer.
 
So I was able to get in on a pre-order for a new controller board. Has 32bit CPU, Trinamic TMC 2208 Drivers, Marlin 2.0 etc. Can't wait!

Dialed in my printer again, printed some nice feet that will take some squish ball feet. They turned out nice and strong as well.
 
Got my squish balls installed yesterday. Then went together nicely. Should absorb any vibration.
 
Replacement board comes today, that should be a fun project later this weekend.
 
Got the new board mostly put in over the weekend. I ended up ordering a ferrule kit to do the spring connectors properly. Have you ever heard of these ends @ndboarder ? Should be here today so will just need to crimp them on. I figured if I was going to do it, might as well do it right.

Just a special tool and a square end, they are made to go into spring clips so that the wires don't get broke done and cause arcing etc. Just think of banana clips. That is basically what they are.
