AI future has begun - OpenAI and others.

Doing some reading this morning about how Twitter will charge for their api, same goes for Reedit that they just announced. The reason they are doing this is so that Ai bots can’t train and gather information. So now we have company’s not wanting to share universal information so that their own Ai will have the competitive edge.
The threat of AI taking away jobs is a little overstated, for now, but the big change that's happening is how it affects your current job.
For instance, I'm reading that management is pressuring or encouraging their employers to use ChatGPT to speed up their programming and development work. There are YouTube how-to videos about these topics. It's kind of like the skills of using Google to research solutions correctly or even going back to the calculator to speed up calculations.
In essence, this could change how things are done or expected. Essentially, you could lose your job to someone else that mastered the newer ways of doing things.

As the AI learns more and more jobs will go away. AI will basically replace most customer service and tech jobs. Think about it, you wouldn't even know your talking to a bot. Amazon has gone to quite a bit of this, it gets harder and harder to chat online with a real human anymore.

I want to talk about the bigger picture here. How many here think that we already have a full AI/Humans walking among us? I know someone of you may think this is something from a sci-fi movie, but we are already here. You have implants already from Tesla that they are testing, and all you would have to do is dump AI software into it and connect into the nervous/motor system and you would have an AI controlled walking corpse.

Just like I mentioned about how AI will influence our stock picks based on it's own trends instead of the company or economic performance in the long run, this will happen with almost anything. That's how most people are, what we see is what we do, water taking the path of least resistance. But instead of most people still learning basic survival needs, that number will go down more and more. This has been taking place the past millions of years to any creature. But now people will evolve down much quicker.
At first, AI will seem to aid us in a hybrid way. We use our current intellect with the help of AI to give use the edge or fill in the blanks. The further we go down this, the more AI will take over (some good but the rest mostly bad). Very soon, when AI gives us information, it will be taken as a whole or mostly whole truth and people with run with it. For instance, if AI calculates which stocks are going to perform best, even with errors, people will invest in it no matter what, making that stock increase even if there was no merit to it. In fact, stocks do this today and have been for a while based on speculation, but which used to have more merit behind it. Modern technology has made people more lazy, AI will just drive that further.
We live in a physical, finite world that must adhere to it's properties. Trying to live mostly virtually (theoretically) will not lead to a more happy and fulfilling life. While we get to scratch the itch and feel fuzzy inside on "cool" technology with the newest greatest thing that comes out every week, it goes away quick and we constantly seek something quickly leaving us unfulfilled.
AI is going to do something much quicker compared to anything else predicted to be the downfall hasn't; greatly reducing or taking away a core ability to humans, which is our minds and decision making.
The same problems will be there, just in a different form. When that time comes though, people will be less independent and suffer to issues more out of their control, unless you are the part of the special 1% of course.
