AI future has begun - OpenAI and others.

If we think of AI and the danger to taking away jobs from a more realistic standpoint, consider the following.
If AI can take away a job, it probably wasn't a real job in the first place. Think about how wasteful and mundane some jobs are, the ones where people do tedious mind numbing work and complain about it. AI is probably just doing us a favor. Society created those boring jobs, creating overly complex standards that needed people to do that type of repetitive work that when looked at from a society beneficial standpoint, is useless on a grand scale.
We really need more people to be tradesmen, and as long as they are not working under poor conditions, hours, control, would live a more fulfilled day to day life. But that's the big question, our planet is filled with many greedy people who want to not just be rich, but be powerful over anything else and continue to be that way, which continues to grow. Our society still encourages and protects those type of people, meaning they must have people suppressed under them to keep their lavish lifestyles.

Look at Elon Musk with Twitter, he gets rid of 70% of staff, and it runs even better. From a business standpoint that is pretty impressive.
Which brings up another dilemma, we can't just cut a person's job and throw them on the street. Yes, they will get severance and unemployment, which kind of how a universal basic income supplements people's money for needs. The overall picture is suppose to be AI or robots working for the greater of peoples' good. However, I don't think that will work out that way. Some if not most people just don't know how to make good use of there free time. Crazy people will still be crazy, and bad habits will still be there, stupid decisions will just manifest in different ways. The more free time you give them, the more probability bad things will happen.
