I completely agree with this theory. I think they are pre selling/overselling/hype whatever you want to call it. I still see no advantage to AI thsn yo make stupid pics and videos.
We all know the real reasons is realtime war strategy/encryption cracking/citizen surveillance/algorithm tracking. All promoted as a good thing for you.

Has anyone noticed that Ai slop is getting closer and closer to the point where you can’t tell what is real and what is not? I would give it 1-2 years you be 100%, then what? Your feeds will be filled with photos/videos and you won’t be able to distinguish fact from fiction. What happens then? What are you gonna believe?
