We'll see, but seems everyone managed to oversell and maybe we all get lucky, maybe not, but Amazon and Best buy are not the only affected sellers. No as far as I know Amazon sent out the letter posted above and same other retailers Best Buy oversold and cancelled orders. Seems the only safe bet was to order from Microsoft and I have been checking mine and everything seems fine.
Don't know I just say it posted on Reedit last night in the Xbox forums. There were a couple of guys that they had it happen to. I guess if your cart doesn't say it then you are safe. I also read that guys who still had one in their cart from Microsoft were able to get them pushed though yesterday as well. They posted a few live chats where the people tell them to keep trying. Basically there must be a max limit, and as soon as someone cancels that item goes back into inventory and people are able to claim it (that is what it seems like to me). People are now writing skips that just keeps hitting the checkout all day and eventually they are getting them. Bad part is everyone is starting to run the scripts now. This only works if you still have one in your cart.Another wave just sent out...on September 24th huh? I could easily use the "first time huh" for reply. You know and everyone knows any launch has been and always will be this way. Now the question is was their form of payment bad/rejected or any other reason.
I just plan on hopefully switching over to it for my gaming instead of WoW. (It's a bad addiction and I want to get away from it). Plus it seems like I have missed out so much past games because I was always playing WoW. I want to get back to the fun days of my Xbox 360 and all the fun games I played. Plus it will be fun to play with friends again, since everyone I know on WoW has moved on. I have a 4k HDR tv already, but it's out in the living room. I might just hook it up to my 144hrz monitor. I know that I will be missing a few things though, so have been looking at 4K tvs that support all the features on the Series X.What are you going to play on your Xbox that will keep you out of WoW? Curious since anything that would be playable on your Series X could be played today on a One X. Also, why upgrade a TV for it? I guess if you don't have 4K television already, then maybe, but I wouldn't update just to get HDMI 2.1. Dolby vision isn't really that big a deal when most any modern 4K is going to be at least HDR10. I'll just be hooking mine up to a gaming monitor anyway...
You don't like the WoW but the WoW likes you. You'll go back to it before long. Too addicted.I just plan on hopefully switching over to it for my gaming instead of WoW.
